Stonepath – A fresh approach to Hospitality Networking
Sometimes the stars align, and you end up in a pub having a chat with a person you have known and worked (and respect and happen to like…. a bit…) with putting everything to right and wondering what difference you both can make in the hospitality world – small as it is – and that others are not already covering?
You also both keep being asked to help out,get involved, advise, guide, introduce and give a view – so it felt timely and relevant to do something to direct all that requirement into one useful place and do it very well.
That is how Stonepath has been conceived.
There are lots of great examples of cohorts, forums, conferences and online broadcasts and from our perspective we have benefited from many of them – and some of them are really excellent. No pressure! We do not intend to cross into their space but rather find our own position which we plan to be quite different.
We were however a bit bothered that at a time of acute hardship and commercial imperatives cost, access, time and relevance for small companies and founders was lacking. The reality for founders is somewhat different from the bigger entities and corporate giants and it would be really useful to create a network and agency for small hospitality businesses who make up over 40% of spaces across the industry. We intend to address this by making our events timely for you and modular when you need it.
So, that is what we plan to do. Our mantra is that everything we do should be useful, relevant, and accessible – that you have the opportunity to meet and share with like-minded individuals and get exposure to the best supply chain of ideas and industry and developments targeted at start-ups and founders.
It’s our intention to host some interesting conversations using best in class data and insight and to create fresh new communication channels that are more inclusive and deal with topics that are useful to you.
We want to use speakers and advocates who exemplify the role models you would expect to see breaking ground in the industry and we want to make it easy for you to take advantage at a time when you are focused on building a successful business.
We hope that we become so important to you as a support channel that you could not imagine running your business without us.
